Powder-Coated Steel Kiosks
Our powder-coated steel kiosks are made of a prime mild carbon steel (A36 / JIS G3141 / Q235) that's malleable enough for bending and forming, but strong enough to take a lot of abuse.
The thickness of the steel depends on the kiosk's application. The skin is formed out of 1.5mm steel for most public kiosks, with 2.0mm and 2.5mm steel used for internal brackets and bracing. If a heavier-duty skin is required for, say, a gas pump, we can go all the way up to 3mm. But that's going to be one heavy kiosk and meant for the worst kind of abuse. Also, please keep in mind that the thicker the metal, the more expensive and unwieldy it will be.
Powder-coated enclosures are thoroughly painted inside and out and allowed to dry in our curing ovens. PC cases are sprayed to match the enclosure.
Paints are available in standard, and anti-vandal for outdoor use.
